The Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha is open from 8:30 am - 3.30 pm everyday, ticket is 500 baht (14 USD).

USE YOUR TICKET IN 3 SEPARATE PARTS.

PART 1
Allows you entrance on purchased day to The Grand Palace which houses The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, The Temple of the Emerald Buddha museum and Queen Sirikit museum of textiles.

PART 2
Visit the arts of the Kingdom museum, the masterpieces by artisans of Queen Sirikit institute, at koh kerd, bang pa-in district, Ayudhaya province. (1-1.5 hours from Bangkok). Valid for 7 days after purchase date.

PART 3
For a Thai classical masked dance- “Khon”. performed on Monday - Friday at 10:30 a.m., 01:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m. And 5:30 p.m. At the Sala Chalermkrung Royal theatre. Valid for 7 days after purchase date.

Children under 120 cm are free.

TOP TIP:* The Reclining Buddha is 700 meters south of the Grand Palace Bangkok. Walking in the sun can be to hot, get a tuk tuk or taxi a little down the Street to avoid scamsnegotiate price before going there.

Reclining Buddha

RECLINING BUDDHA

The Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho) is located 700 meters south of The Grand Palace. It is a world-renowned 46 meter long gold plated reclining Buddha. Its pose represents entry into complete spiritual enlightenment ending all worldly reincarnations. Within the surrounding corridor there are 108 bronze bowls representing the 108 auspicious characteristics of The Buddha. It is believed dropping coins into these bowls brings wealth and prosperity...
